Change can be bad, or it can also be good if you embrace it if you make it you own and you own it!. It's up to you!!
As we've been going through these changes in our society and lifestyles, I've been staying on top of what's working right now in the blogging or journaling world in general and getting a clear picture of where things are going (both the BIG Picture and the current specific picture proper to our blog family and community)... instead of dwelling on all the bad news.
The more I look into it, th more I research, the more I realize just how many big opportunities there are right now. Changes create challanges, possibilities and opportunities, that seemingly weren't there before (or was not realized or actualized). Note: it's not really a change, it's just a re-arrangement of priorities, peoples, places and things in the pecking oreder and in the process a redistribution of wealth, health & love...
I've always done this.
In fact, for over 15 + years now, I've studied, read hundreds of thousands of group and forum posts etc. (no exaggeration), and put into practice all the best techniques and information, best biz practices from prior experiences like this, I dug up to use on my own blog. (Recall:We went thru this before with SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (caronavirus) circa 2002-2004).
The results have been great, but it's a lot of work and rework to update/upgrade and upscale!
In fact, one of the biggest things I've learned is that "you can't believe everything you read on the internet or hear on TV".
Many of the posts and messages etc. I've see from other bloggers online may be well-intended, but they simply don't work or are unrealistic for one reason or another, and many times it's just self-serving.
This is obviously a big problem for new bloggers, separating fact from fiction and non-fiction, if you will.
There is so much information out there and it is hard to know what works and what doesn't. In other words, we 're swimin' in information, but starving in wisdom...
The real answer is to be careful with the advice you are taking or subscribing to.
Are you really going to change the whole direction of your blog based on one random comment posted in a Facebook group? Like, "Ppls boycott these dead presidents bills, $1, $2, $5, $10, $20, $50, $100 coz theyn wer against lives that now matter, ...send them to 'me' I deal with it and bury them in my backyard,"... I mean REALLY!? Ya'll must be kiddin'!???...
If you do, just make sure it's correct! ...it's fact and NOT fiction or a Scam vs a legit opportunity!
I've seen it happen a thousand times where bloggers will go down a quantum, rabbit hole for the next 'shiny thing,' that comes along,for no good reason and end up wasting enormous amounts of time ,money and give up valuable momentum in your current biz. WE got a plug the other they said, "Stay home:work from home if you can!"... all of a sudden blogs wer reeporting 20,00 new signup daily... and startegizing about monetizing...
Don't fall into that trap!
