Fwd: Sales funnels & managing stress

Hey hon,

I hope you've been doing well. We're halfway through May and I hope you've had a fruitful month so far! :)

For me, I've experiencing some signs of burnout as I look into how I can expand my product line & serve my current customers better.

A sign I noticed that indicated that I could be near burnout was when I sat in front of my computer, but consistently didn't feel like doing much work.

To combat this, I've been cutting out as many distractions and noise from my life that only serve to make me more frazzled. I've blocked my Facebook newsfeed, for one. I've also unfollowed almost everyone I've been following, at least for now. Everyone has an opinion but you don't have to know them all...

Another problem was checking my email. I've noticed that most of the craziness come when I check my email - if I stop checking my email for a day or two, I end up with hundreds of unread emails that will take at least an hour to go through. It got to the extent of me avoiding my email inbox because I know that I will feel stressed when I do check it. I've created a folder called "Not Urgent", where everything that sounds robotic / pitchy (such as not addressing me by name) is sent straight there without given any attention.

  • SANEBOX.com helps with the eMail insanity,
  • YouMail.com handles the phone, known TeleMarketers are sent three tones that say phone is "Out of Service" that the phone company uses,
  • I'm provided with a visual voice mailbox, yet another email detailing the results.

The same goes for people I don't know who are straight out asking me for links without any prior contact or any effort to mention my work anywhere or subscribe to any of my courses or buy products and services. There are too many people using bots to pitch me things and I used to reply to each and everyone of them, but I realized that there isn't much value to that and I literally feel my energy leaving me when I do so... somethings has to go...

What about you? Have certain things been draining you out?

I've always been good at managing stress so I know it's only a matter of creating systems to protect myself from feeling overwhelmed on a daily basis, to better serve the real readers (aka you) who genuinely need help who actually read my content, as well as my existing course students.

Sales Funnel Series On The Blog

I've also been working a lot on my sales funnels!

I recently wrote a 3-part sales funnels series on the blog that you should check out!

You'll learn what a sales funnels is, my recommended sales funnel tools, the 7 types of sales funnels that work well now, as well as how to build an automated webinar funnel.

I'll probably add more articles to the series with time!

Click here to read the sales funnel series.

Looking for beta testers

I've added several new "side" courses to my course collection.

As my community expands, I've been looking to serve the micro needs of my audience by creating subject-specific ebooks & masterclasses.

These were mostly bonuses only available to my course students previously, and I've recently decided to try opening it up to the public to enroll directly. Most of these are lower-cost ebooks and trainings to serve people who may not be ready for my signature courses yet.

If you would like to beta test my Affiliate Marketing Secrets course or my SEO Guidebook, please hit reply to this message! Please note that you have to commit to finishing the course and to writing a testimonial within the next 2 weeks. You should at least have your website up with a couple of blog posts because otherwise, the information may not be the most useful for you until you've kickstarted your blog. I'll also be contacting you 1 - 2 months from now to check on your progress too to see if you've gotten any results!

If you're thinking about doing a launch within the next month or two with at least 500 subscribers & you're interested in beta testing a masterclass I'm intending to release to the public about launching, please hit reply too!

Here is a list of my best resources for you, depending on where you are in your online journey:

RE: How To Better Yourself – Twenty-three (23) Challenges That Will Change Your Life

Re: Please head to How To Better Yourself – 23 Challenges That Will Change Your Life to read the full blog post. If you'd like to read this later, please save it to Pinterest.

Thanks!

Hello!

Learning how to better yourself is something we can all work on. Even small adjustments and improvements can have long-lasting effects on your life.

Improving yourself can change your financial situation, your relationships, your self-esteem, your health, and more.

But, learning how to better yourself can feel like a very difficult thing if your life isn't going the way you want.

Maybe you had a different plan but things don't seem to be going your way. Maybe you just want a change because anything is better than how things are currently going.

Each of those things can leave you feeling overwhelmed, stressed, or like everyone is doing better than you. Those feelings can be hard to escape, but my goal is that you'll find at least one thing on this list that will start to change your mood and your life for the better.

No matter how you're feeling, I do believe that everyone is in charge of their own destiny.

If you feel that things are not going the way you want them to go, then change it!

Trust me, I know it can be hard – focusing on how to better yourself can be one of the biggest challenges you face. You may fail sometimes, but you'll never improve your life if you don't start trying.

Instead of looking at how to better yourself as one big and overwhelming challenge, there are lots of smaller challenges and ways to better yourself that will start to change how you see yourself and how you see the world around you.

Despite your fears, challenges can change the way you think because they open you up to new ideas that you may have never experienced or realized before. By making yourself "uncomfortable" or putting yourself in a position that you are not used to, you will truly learn how to feel better about yourself.

I know that the ideas on this list below will look like a lot and can be overwhelming. You don't need to work on everything, and especially not all at once. Simply choose one or some of the ways to better yourself and go from there.

Living a better life starts with small steps and changes – just start with something small on this list of challenges. Get out of your comfort zone a little and see how it feels to succeed.

As you keep working on how to better yourself, you'll start to see your life changing around you.

Fwd: Eleven (11) Essential Blog + Business Wordpress Plugins I Recommend...

RE: Do read this blogpost if you want to learn more about the above plugins:
Eleven (11) Blogging Plugins You Need to Rock Your Blog Massively & Get Your MoJo!

Hey hon,

I have a love-hate relationship with plugins.

When they work awesomely, I love them as they make my life sooo much easier.

Otherwise, they slow down my site and some lousy plugins even make my blog more vulnerable to attacks etc.

Today I'll be going through some of the plugins that I have installed on my website.

I'm confident that you'll find at least one of them awesomely useful.

If you're just starting out, you probably do not know which plugins you may need for your blog + business.

Here are some plugins that I absolutely to bits:

Out of all, I would say that Yoast SEO and a socialmedia sharing plugin of your choice ( I use and love Social Info Warfare because of how fast and lightweight it is and I'm a military type ...) would be an absolute essential.

In the grand scheme of things, plugins are really a matter of personal preference.

The good ones enhance your reader's user experience and helps you to get more reader engagement and more results from your efforts.

Do read this blogpost if you want to learn more about the above plugins:
11 Blogging Plugins You Need to Rock Your Blog Massively

The blog post itself is part 4 of my 4-part Blogging For Beginner Series:

Part 1: How to Start a Blog – Blogging For Beginners
Part 2: Can't Decide What's The Best Blogging Platform to Use? Answers here.
Part 3: 11 Things To Do Immediately After You Start a New Blog
Part 4: 11 Blogging Plugins You Need to Rock Your Blog

I hope you will find the series helpful especially if you're a new blogger. If you have yet to start your blog, check out part 1 and you will finally get started with the right guidance!

RE: Multiply your results with this ONE thing

RE: Multiply your results with this ONE thing!

Hey hon,

I wanted to write this email to share something I've learnt with you.

Some time ago I got burnt out from working online. *cue shocked gasping from the crowd* ect.

Blogging gets tiring and all consuming after a while. It happens to the best of us.

Then, I had the opportunity to go on the holiday of my life - and I went for it.

Had the time of my life!!

I went for a 5-month holiday to the USA and toured the country. Austin TX, Dallas TX, San Antonio TX, New York NY, Washington DC, Buffalo NY, Charlottesville VA, Los Angeles CA, Las Vegas NV and San Francisco CA etc. just to name a few cities, they were just some of the places I went to
criss-crossing the country.

After that, I felt so refreshed and gained so much clarity on how to move my blog +

Everything is done Automagically!"biz forward.

But what happens when you're gone from your biz?

The best way to always seem to be ONLINE? AUTOMATION.

Everything is done "AUTOMAGICALLY"! Thanks in part to Automation, you can automate 90% of your biz

Today I'm talking about how important automation is. Yes, it isn't as scary as it seems :)

Most of the stuff I post on social media are planned WAY in advance. My posts are written WAY in advance and posted per a prescribed schedule "automagically."

I use tools like the in-built Facebook Page scheduler. The pins I pin on Pinterest are also automated with Tailwind (free month here)
loop my blog posts and are used in Tribes (groups), to be tweeted out ...

The posts to IG - Instagram, also automated with Tailwind (free month here) loop my blog posts and are used in Tribes (groups),  to be tweeted out ...

...with the Revive Old Posts Plugin, I get to use old content and re-purpose those, that are successful before. Even my subscribers get some emails that are scheduled with Convertkit (free month of Convertkit here) for bloggers.

Obviously you can't automate everything because you always need a personal touch in your blog and business. The work still has to be done, it's just easier and you can accomplish more with these extensions of self if you will.

But it can be done efficiently and effectively.

There are certain aspects of your business that you should keep personal and real-time, definitely. But the rest? The menial work? Automate it away! or OutSource it!!

If there's one thing you have to learn today, know that you don't always have to be online, if you master the power of automation. Ai - artificial intelligence, infact makes having a job pointless...

Here are some of the ways you can automate your business (not limited to):

  • Creating advertising campaigns that run on autopilot and gets you fresh leads everyday
  • Scheduling some of your social media posts and be active on social media while you're asleep
  • Writing your posts in advance and scheduling them
  • Sending regular emails that are SUPER helpful to your list
  • Building a sales funnel and sending automated emails to targeted subscribers and convert them into buyers
  • Autoblogging

In fact, I now have more time to interact with my readers and customers in real-time and be personal with them.

Recommended Resources

It is very important to me to connect my subscribers to the right resources I have created. Please feel free to check out some of my best resources below and get your learning on this week.

I hope this email will challenge your outlook,  to look for fresh ways to detach yourself from your blog + business - so that you can spend your time serving your readers and customers much better! And of course nothing is more important the friends and family.

You'll find yourself with so so so much time to talk to actual people, which is
more fun, and more important. :)

My thanks in advance for your attention, energy, time, trouble, and consideration.

Peaceful vibes and an abundantly, successful blog + biz!

RE: Three (3) quick tricks to get more blog comments

RE: Three (3) quick tricks to get more blog comments

Hi, hon!

I hope you're having a great day so far and enjoy your weekend, be safe! :)

I have been thinking about a particular concept today - the 90-9-1 rule:

  • 90% of your audience are 'lurkers' who will read and watch silently,
  •  9% will contribute from time to time, and only,
  • 1% will actively subscribe, participate & provide feedback.

When we successfully engage our audience and "break out" of this 90-9-1 ratio, we build a base of loyal readers who are more likely to buy from us.

For the first year of my blogging journey, I had my comments switched off because I didn't want to deal with the additional trouble. I didn't see the ROI that blog comments can bring to my business.

But today, I see my blog comments as another avenue where I can engage and connect with my audience.

So... how can we better engage our blog readers to get more blog comments? Here are 3 quick tips to help...

1. Don't make your blog commentators jump through unnecessary hoops and red tape...

People are reluctant to leave a comment when you require extra effort from them before they can comment, like registering, loging in or filling a captcha etc.

Make sure that your blog does not make readers jump through unnecessary hoops before they can leave a comment.

2. Get rid of any "0 comments" so you don't scare people from commenting

Make sure that your comment section never displays the dreaded '0 comments' line.

If it does, make sure to remove this because it reflects very poorly on your credibility when people see that you've no comments.

3. Break the ice

Many people are uncomfortable being the first person who comments. It is easier to join a conversation than to start it – this is why the first slot can stay vacant for way too long.

To fill it and invite more comments, ask one of your close friends to comment on your article once you post it.

4. Ask an open-ended question

Conclude your article with an open-ended question asking the audience for their opinions or experiences: "What do you think about this?" or "How do you typically deal with such a situation?"

People are more likely to share when they are invited to, do so.

My thanks in advance for your, attention, energy, time trouble  and cosideration.

G-d bless,

Jon-jon

Fwd: How to write blog posts with flawless english

Hey hon,

It's Raelyn here!

Yesterday, someone emailed me asking what tool I use to help with my grammar while writing.

Side note: English is my first language. I was raised bilingual (most people in Singapore, where I'm from, are).

But well, it's still a really great question.

I am not afraid to admit that I sometimes waste spend a little too much time obsessing over the quality of my blog posts.

Most of my posts have close to 100 iterations. It isn't just limited to my blog posts… When I first created my site, my logo had 87 iterations! No joke.

I'm much better in this aspect now, thankfully. *wipes sweat*

I remember being blown away when I first discovered Grammarly.

Grammarly is every perfectionist's dream!

When I found Grammarly, I changed 5,000+ spelling and grammatical mistakes in my blog posts on the spot.

Nowadays, I'm not so extreme – so if you see errors here and there, please pardon me. I must say that it was very gratifying to fix all the errors.

Click here to check out Grammarly; it's free!

I believe that Grammarly is a great tool to have if English is not your first language, especially if you are not very proficient in English yet.

Grammarly works to help you edit your blog posts, emails, and even your Facebook statuses to remove any language errors, so what's not to love? 🙂

I hope that you'll find this review helpful.

Most importantly, do use Grammarly to improve your writing. :)

My thanks in advance for your trouble,
 energy, time, attention and consideration.

God bless,

Jon-jon
