Helpful Tips to prevent contracting COVID-19 are: - Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not readily available, an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol, can be used.
- Stay home if you are sick, except to get medical care.
- Cover your mouth when you cough and sneeze.
- Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
- Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol if soap and water are not available.
- Clean frequently touched surfaces and objects often.
- Face masks are not recommended for people who aren't sick. However, if you show symptoms of COVID-19 or another respiratory disease, then please consider wearing a mask.
